If you have been living in New Zealand for at least three years and have held a residence class visa for three years, you can apply for student loans and allowances from the Ministry of Social Development to cover your tuition fees, programme-related costs and living expenses.
A student loan can help finance your study, but you must pay it back.

Students can book a free session of up to 60 minutes with a counsellor on Wednesdays between 12pm and 4pm.
